Third year own root plant growing in a 16" barrel. (I hard prune my container plants every spring). Putting out lots of growth and flowers in full very hot sun. The flowers aren't as deep pink as in a shadier location, but the bloom production is much better. Albuquerque NM, Zone 7B, hot and dry, no spray.
