According to this link http://www.ugai.org/attivita/archivio/anni8090 Garden Club was hybridized by Domenico Mansuino and not by Quinto Mansuino. The link refers details about the cerimony to name (Garden Club) the new rose of the hybridizer Domenico Mansuino.

According to the same source, there is also a painting of this rose by Annemarie Trechslin, the renowned Swiss rose paintress.

'Garden Club' was bred in 1981. I have a 1985 calendar featuring 12 paintings of Annemarie Trechslin. but unfortunately not one of them are named.
