'KORmaccap' rose Reviews & Comments

The patent is odd. It labels it an HT, but says the bloom diameter is 6-7cm. The female parent is probably Acapella, and the male parent is probably a semi-double landscape type.
How can an HT have a 2.35 to 2.75" bloom diameter?
Kordes Official US site labels it an HT of the Parfuma series, but does not state the bloom diameter. It would be nice if someone read this comment and measured their bloom in a photograph.
HOWEVER! The Kordes Official site for Germany lists it as a floribunda in the Parfuma series, with these dimensions:
"diameter: 7 cm, 8 cm"

I have quite a few First Crush and just noticed that one doesn't have any thorns. Fragrance and blooms seem to be the same. Has anybody ever had one just not produce thorns or have any guesses on what it could be?

You might have a sport! Kordes could certainly use some thornless varieties - wonderful roses, but notoriously thorny. Does the thornless one hold up to weather and diseases as well as the others?
