Will Alderman. Lilac pink. 35-40 [petals]. 48". Repeat.
A rugosa hybrid. Upright, bushy. Deep lilac pink buds open into loose, very fragrant flowers (about 3 inches/7.5 cm wide) with golden centers. Good repeat bloom. Mid green foliage is disease resistant. Will form round red hips in fall as nice contrast to its fall foliage colors and reddish stems. Very hardy (zone 2).

Will Alderman - hybrid rugosa. Height 3-4 feet. Typical rugosa bush and foliage. Flowers large, rose pink, of hybrid perpetual form. Much better than Hansa. Produces freely all season, sets seed. Very subject to chlorosis, otherwise it would be in my top ten.
