'New Double Yellow Sweet Brier' rose Description

Bloom:
Butter-yellow, green pointel. Mild fragrance. Average diameter 2". Small, double (17-25 petals), cupped, globular bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Height: 4' (120cm). Width: 4' (120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Produces decorative hips. shade tolerant. Do not prune. Resist the urge to prune this rose too heavily -- it doesn't like it!.

Notes:
Parentage uncertain, see References. The Swedish Rose Society recommends Williams' Double Yellow for northern Sweden.
Dag from Norway says this rose is called 'Namdalsrosen' there. In Finland, the found rose "Kaisaniemi" (KESKAS-857) was identified as 'William's Double Yellow'.
