The name of this rose is LIliana Ruffilli, in fact it was named after Liliana Ruffilli, Professor of Istituto Agrario Garibaldi/Da Vinci of Cesena, Italy. According to "Le Rose Italiane" page 216 by Andrew Hornung it was bred in 1994 (Ise Kron Superior x Polar Star)
