Introducing The Grace Wayman Rose I Consider This The Finest Climbing Rose Yet Introduced For a number of years I have had blooming in my garden a gorgeous pink climbing Rose that has been a real sensation. Every visitor who has seen it here has pronounced it by far the finest climbing rose they have ever seen. During part of that time I grew beside it on 400 feet of trellises every climbing rose I could acquire, but I could not find another climbing rose that could hold a candle to it. I have been repeatedly urged to sell it, but have always refrained from doing so until now. The print on this page is AN ACTUAL PHOTOGRAPH GREATLY REDUCED. Comparing it with other modern climbing roses, it is a much better color, better form, larger, of heavier substance, more double. It makes an excellent companion-piece for the Golden Climber, either on the Trellis or as a cut flower, but is much more double than the Golden Climber. In color it is a luscious pink, a flower of mammoth size and unsurpassed form. And such profusion of bloom! One wonders how any plant can produce so many gorgeous flowers, each blossom a perfect cut flower, on a strong stout stem, as fine as any hot-house grown rose. As to hardiness, it has gone through all our severe winters, with the temperature as low as 17 degrees below zero, without protection and without damage. I have not been able to find any other Climbing rose with which to compare it. I have decided to name it the GRACE WAYMAN ROSE. It is a strong grower, producing heavy canes and is a robust climber. Those who have seen it growing in my garden will, I am sure, be glad to avail themselves of this opportunity to procure one or more plants, and I am sure that others who buy it will pronounce it the finest climbing rose they have ever seen. A few hundred plants will be released this fall. Place your order at once, as the supply for delivery this season is limited.
