"[under heading of] H. JAMAIN, PARIS. Hybrid Bourbon, a seedling from M. Paré, Marie Paré; plant vigorous[,] flowers of sufficient size, well formed, fine appearance, colour beautiful, clear, flesh, brighter in the centre; foot stalks strong, foliage dark green, plentiful; fine buds, opening well; very floriferous. This variety resembles Mrs. Bosanquet, but is of richer colour and superior in all respects." The Bazaar, The Exchange and Mart, vol. 23, 1880, p. 646.
Mostly a (previous) iteration of the 1881 references, but also specifying that it's Mr. Paré's seedling, and calling it a Hybrid Bourbon rather than just a Bourbon.
