In “Annuario della Rosa” 1984 page 16 edited by Associazione Italiana della Rosa, Loretta Goggi the Most Beautiful Italian rose 1983 is reported as “ottenuta da” Vivai Consonni. However it was bred by Giuseppe Luigi Cazzaniga (who was the breeder also of the unnamed rose awarded the silver medal). Apparently Zandri was not the only Italian breeder who had his roses presented to Italian Internation Trials by friend nurseries.
