Linda Cheryl Breeders code:​ -.  Breeder: Bates 2008​. Parentage: Sport of Colleen​. Garden: 5.6 Exhibition: 7.2 Health: 5.6 Fragrance: 3.0. Height: Medium​. Availability: Ford. 
Kaitaia: Slow to establish, now looks healthy and producing good blooms. Northland: Good blooms for showing, grows like parent Colleen', can have large foliage. Waikato: Late to flower, lovely blooms, good growth. Manawatu: Nice shaped blooms, foliage can get large at times. Not a patch on 'Colleen', shy flowering, shapely HT of medium pink, can burn a little and look mottled at times. Can get black spot and powdery mildew, prune lightly for best flower production and quality. South Canterbury: A lot of dieback and disease, had for several years.

Linda Cheryl  Breeder: Bates 2008. Type: Hybrid Tea. Plants: 34. Parentage: Sport of Colleen. Reports: 24. Height: Medium to Tall. Garden: 6.2. Exhibition: 7.5. Health: 6.2 (good). Fragrance: 4.2 (some).  Large hybrid tea blooms of attractive form which is suitable for exhibiting. It grows like 'Colleen' and is more of an exhibitors rose than a garden rose. In some conditions it can be susceptible to black spot disease.

Kaitaia: Well shaped blooms, exhibition quality, not vigorous, not a prolific bloomer. Northland: Grows similar to parent 'Colleen', grows well, no problems. Manawatu: Dark green foliage, large Hybrid Tea blooms of good form, slow repeat, not as good as 'Colleen'.

Northland: A great rose, grows well like 'Colleen' and makes a good bloom for showing. Manawatu: dull bronzy green foliage, some black spot, large foliage, nice shape, slow to repeat.

Entry number 4456 was a HT with the most wonderful exhibition form. It is a sport of 'Colleen' in tones of pink (BAT 2003/1A). I do hope this rose will be released so it can be seen on the show bench.
