Own moss roses....'Nuit d'Été', 'Kesäyö' Pirjo Rautio
'Kesäyö' is my oldest moss rose. It is a seedling of 'Nuits de Young', the bloom being lighter than its parent. It grows to a 130 cm tall, broad shrub, which suckers a lot. Semi-double, fragrant bloom is initially carmine-red, later violet-red, stamens are a wonderful yellow. Hips are large and rounded. 'Nuit d'Été' is sold in nurseries.
