Tall, arching, bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, well-branched.  Large, semi-glossy, medium green, edged purple-red, leathery foliage.  5 to 9 leaflets.

USDA zone 5a and warmer.  Can be used for garden, hedge, landscape, shrub or specimen.  Hardy.  vigorous.  can be grown as a shrub.  drought resistant.  shade tolerant.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, blackspot resistant, mildew resistant.  Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..  Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.  Prune after flowering is finished.  Prune lightly until this rose gets established (about two years), then prune it back by about a third..  Remove unproductive wood every third year or so.
Breeder's notes:
One of five seedlings whose label went missing. Based upon the thornless/almost thornless nature, structure of the leaves, and the crosses made that year I suspect the pollen parent may have been Simonet's Red Dawn X Suzanne. These seedlings most likely have the same Seed parent and pollen parent - I really wish I knew because it is a superior rose. Scent is very close to what the old rose ‘Banshee’ has but I don’t recall ever using it in breeding.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
First planted in the ground: July 2016. First blooms in 2019. Mature blooms in 2020.
