Breeder's notes:
05/15 Extinct - I received seeds from from this cross from Mark Wesson and germinated them. This is the one seedling I kept after a process of elimination. Hoping for increased hardiness and health coming from the R. arkansana ancestor and hopefully this will be a new source for hardy yellows.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Communication from Mark Wesson on the Rose Hybridizer's Association Forum regarding this seedling:

"I have O.P. seeds from an arkansana hybrid available if anyone wants to try them, (Cal Poly x R. arkansana hybrid seedling) x O.P. Send a private message with your address if you're interested. The parent is non-remontant so far and is about 6' X 8' and still growing in its second season in the ground. Flower color is pink. The few seedlings I raised from it's pollen last year have all been repeat blooming. I've collected a few hundred seeds already for myself to test germination and there are many more on the plant. I'm already getting germinations from those collected for myself, so there is some fertility. Mildew and rust aren't issues here. The parent has a few leaf spots here late in the season but health is better than average.

The arkansana hybrid was furnished by David Z. a few years ago. It was an open pollinated seedling from his arkansana that he believed to be a hybrid with one of his nearby seedlings of Carefree Beauty because of its purple stamens."

"David Z" refers to Dr. David Zlesak.
