Peter Holmes.  The Mystery Roses of Bermuda.
"Frances Earl" .....Its growth is very rapid, producing long canes.  If these canes are pruned to about 4ft (1.2m) the bush will be much fuller and produce many more blooms.  The foliage is deep green in colour with leaves composed of five to seven leaflets.  There are prickles on the underside of the leaf stalk.  There are also large prickles along the canes.  New growth is purple in colour becoming green as it matures.  Blooms are produced on the end of new growth, either singly or in small clusters.  The fat deep pink buds open to large 3in. (7.5cm) double flowers.  They are medium pink with very muddled centres fading to almost white on the other petals.  The petals have light yellow at their base.  This beautiful rose tends to hang its head, but it certainly has nothing to be ashamed of as it grows extremely well in Bermuda gardens and blooms all year round.
