The first one JP sent me was dead on arrival, because it was sent without proper wrappings. They sent a replacement. It's a pink and white striped floribunda with matte foliage. I have NO idea what it even is. So much for my gamble of the year, lol.

Edit: They said they accidentally sent me Hypnotized. Whatever it was, small blooms with no form of consequence. The issued a code to buy and ship something next year, which was nice. So they have that going for them.

Michael - I just noticed this post - otherwise I would have responded sooner. I ordered 3 bushes of Obsession from J&P this year, planted them in late April, but at bloom time one of them was obviously not Obsession. It was striped red/white like Hypnotized you mention and it had a pretty good fragrance. I thought it might be Scentimental but may very well be Hypnotized. I planted these three bushes very close together to try to get that Big Plant effect and fortunately for me the colors blend together rather well.

J&P also sent me an unknown rose which was supposed to be Tahitian Sunset. I probably should have complained but sometimes that's more of a hassle than just biting the bullet.

Obsession did well for me - good grower and bloomer. Disease free with spraying.

I've had this one season so far, but it's an outstanding garden rose, with magnificent, non-fading, long-lasting, large blooms that do well in Idaho's dry heat.
