Origin:

Bred by Bougère (France, 1849).
Introduced in France by Moreau-Robert in 1852 as 'Adèle Bougere'.

Class:

Bourbon, Hybrid Tea.

Bloom:

Purple - crimson. Amaranth red (Rouge amaranthe éclatant). Average diameter 2.75". Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Arching, few or no prickles/thorns. Medium green foliage. 3 to 5 leaflets.
