As own-root it gets big, but VERY STINGY in blooms in both full-sun and partial shade. Leaves are healthy, but it's only a very light scent.

Anyone growing Kiss Me Kate in a hot/humid zone? I'm in 10a hot and humid. Our local rose society has this rose listed as 'good' for our gardens - but I'm not sure why? lol. No one in the Society is growing it. (I just ordered it to try). Advice? Comments on heat, sun/shade, pH and size? Thanks!
