I ordered April Moon bareroot from Jackson & Perkins last year. She was slow to take off, but this is a really great rose. For starters, it has a very unique, dark-yet-vibrant pink coloring. It's difficult to photograph as it comes across more red than it is, but everyone raves about the color when they see it. It has massive blooms that are very formal in shape. It has extremely strong, bolt-straight stems that are excellent for cutting. The blooms last a long time in a vase. It doesn't have much of a scent, but other than that I can find no real faults. Jackson & Perkins has a recent history of having some spotty introductions, but April Moon is great!
