Origin:
Bred by Nicolas Rolland (France, before 1867).
Introduced in France by Eugène Verdier fils aîne in 1868 as 'Clotilde Rolland'.
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1873 as 'Clothilde Rolland'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Cherry-red to pink.  Large, very full (41+ petals) bloom form.  Prolific.  
Growing:
Very hardy.  very vigorous.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
