"Additionally, the new variety displays (unnamed x ‘KORassenet’) variety (i.e., pollen parent) exhibits cream colored flower, whereas the new variety forms pink colored flowers with a higher petal count and has stronger vigor."

I think I had a stroke reading this. I guess this made it through USPTO lol. The new variety is clearly not pink :)

The patent text here wants to refer to the seedling pollen parent, but the term "new variety" is definitely an error. Exhibits cream colored flower is incorrect grammar and pink and cream were juxtaposed. All missed by Kordes, the patent lawyer and the patent examiner. LOL

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The new variety of Rosa hybrida Climbing Rose Plant of the present invention was created by during May 2005 at Klein Offenseth-Sparrieshoop, Germany by artificial pollination wherein two parents were crossed which previously had been studied in the hope that they would contribute the desired characteristics. The female parent (i.e., seed parent) of the new variety was the `DELeri` variety (non-patented in the United States). The male parent (i.e., pollen parent) was the (`KORgosumu`x`KORvanaber`) variety (non-patented in the United States).

[0003] The parentage can be summarized as follows:

`DELerr`(`KORgosumu`x`KORvanaber`)

-US PP Application # 20190037746

I'm assuming they mean DELeri (Nahema?)???

Whata mess.

Yes. It does seem messy. ‘Kiss Me Kate’ application 45. ‘Limona’ application 46.
I am not sure of Kordes code numbers can tell us anything. ‘Kiss Me Kate’ 05/2591-07. ‘Limona’ 05/2376-01.
I have added the parentages for the moment, but am unable to open the Patent applications from those numbers. Can we have the dates of the applications please (just for the record).
