Bloom:
Purple blend or mauve. Burgundy purple with dark yellow stamens. Strong fragrance. 41 petals. Average diameter 2". Medium, very full (41+ petals), in small clusters bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Tall, arching, climbing, upright. Medium, medium green foliage.
Height: 3' to 4' (90 to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 9a and warmer. Can be used for pillar. Hardy. vigorous. can be trained as a climber. suitable for a pillar. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot , very mildew resistant, very rust resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood.. Remove unproductive wood every third year or so.
Breeder's notes:
This rose has a strong sweet fragrance, the honey bees really like rolling around in the dark yellow pollen on a warm afternoon.
