Also, while I smell licorice, the website where I purchased my plant describes the scent as very, very strong with a mixture of Damascus, tea and fruit. And unsurprisingly, it was launched jointly with a Japanese fragrance brand

Just received this variety with a few blooms on it. The open bloom was large - somewhere between 5 and 6 inches. Many petals with a rich earthy licorice scent. Form was cupped to semi-globular. I really enjoyed the scent on this bloom and cannot wait for this one to put on more growth so I can enjoy it more.
