One of the only Japanese roses available on Etsy that grows well in the garden and that I actually like. Most of them seem to be quite anemic growers. This one put in some decent growth for its first year. Cute little blooms, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and yes, shaped like a macaron, and about the same size. I was suspecting the growers of Japanese roses on Etsy were using a horrid rootstock, because so many of these roses turned out to be very expensive trash for me. But this rose disproves that working hypothesis.
