May 2023, Albuquerque NM, Zone 7B. Lady in Red in her second year in the garden, planted from an own-root band from High Country Roses in 2022. Lots of clusters of beautiful deep red flowers that last a long time on the bush. (They also have a good vase life). This plant is throwing out a lot of canes and demonstrating excellent health and vigor. Just looked up the lineage, and with Valentine's Day and Oh My as parents, it's not surprising that this one is a winner...

I'm impressed by the growth, beauty and vigor of this red climber. Planted last year from a teeny tiny band, it's evolved structurally quickly into a plant with a robust climber habit, producing quick turnarounds of beautiful blooms. Albuquerque NM, Zone 7A, Hot and Dry, No Spray

Planted as a band from High Country Roses 4/19. Dies back in Denver CO every winter. Picture taken 6/22. Produces in the summer when most other roses are taking a break. Does not seem to attract Japanese Beetles.
