Light yellow Hybrid Rugosa. Registration name: Agnes (rugosa, Saunders 1902)
Bloom:
Light yellow, amber center. Mild, raspberry fragrance. 40 to 85 petals. Average diameter 2.75". Medium, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped, prickly receptor bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.
Habit:
Tall, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy. Medium, glossy, light green, wrinkled (rugose) foliage.
Height: 4' to 8'2" (120 to 250cm). Width: up to 5' (up to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 3a through 8b. Can be used for beds and borders or garden. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant, susceptible to rust . Prune lightly or not at all. Resist the urge to prune this rose too heavily -- it doesn't like it!.
