This is the same plant one year on. It is certainly getting the height as described in growing notes. We continue to have rain, heat and extremely high humidity so it is difficult to imagine how the plant would be doing with ideal growing conditions but it has very healthy leaves and blooms are lovely and still last well on the bush although the scent is not as strong as described.

The bush was planted this year and has beeen a terrifically healthy and quick growing rose. Planted in July and it is 31 October so not bad going considering we have had little sun.

This bloom is from the bush in accompanying photo. First year and it has shot up 2 feet in a matter of weeks. We have ongoing rain and little sun and yet in its first year it was the first to flower and has not been without a bloom since. The blooms are large, a rich buttery yellow and just stunning. They last extremely well on the bush and not bad in a vase and have a sweet scent. Appears very healthy in adverse weather and I can well imagine it growing to 10 feet.

In its first year, it has produced about half a dozen canes around 5' in length. These were upright but got flattened by heavy rain and are now budding along their lengths.
