'Dr Jozef Weyns' rose Description

Bloom:
Fuchsia / magenta. Strong fragrance. Medium-large, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Medium, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, suckers on its own roots, upright. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green, attractive fall color foliage.
Height: up to 47" (up to 120cm). Width: 43" (110cm).
Growing:
Can be used for hedge or landscape. Disease susceptibility: very blackspot resistant., mildew resistant, rust resistant. Do not spray. Needs little care; relatively disease-free and quite hardy.

Jozef Weyns (Heist-op-den-Berg, April 4, 1913 - Genk, July 15, 1974) was a Flemish local historian and museum curator.
Dr Jozef Weyns is the first curator and inspirer of The Open-Air Museum Bokrijk which is the largest outdoor museum in Flanders and it is home to more than 120 monuments. All these historic buildings have been meticulously dismantled and rebuilt at the museum.
