Nice branching hybrid tea, producing many vigorous basal canes. It forms an erect, yet balanced, vase-shaped plant. It flowers in clusters of 4/5 blooms and starts produncing new flowers even before the first ones have opened. Its looms start high centered, with somewhat fringed petal edges, and open up quite flat.; they open in a nice shade of golden yellow and fade to near white (even when the buds are cut and brought inside, so it depends on the flower aging and not on sun exposition); in sunny days, old flowers may get a pinkish tan on the edges. There's a nice medium scent, sometimes sweet fruity, sometimes more citrusy. Looks good as a cut flower and lasts about 4 days in a vase.
Blackspot resistence is not as good as I expected; it started getting spotted in the first weeks of August and by now the bottom third of the plant is yellowing and the older leaves are falling. I'd say it is still better than the average hybrid tea, but it is not as good as other varieties by the same breeder. This varieties seems to lack some heath/drought resistance as well, but it may improve with age.
It grows bigger than stated, and it gets quite wide. At the end of the first season, it is about 120*80 cm, with many basal canes. I'm not sure that the classification as shrub used on the description is accurate. It grows how more like an HT for me, very upright, with long canes.
