Rosa microdenia Mironova (1994) ...Erect rose shrub finely toothed 100-150 cm tall; flowering shoots are covered with small and almost straight spikes. The middle leaves of flowering shoots are large, 5-7 cm long; stipules below are rarely pubescent with an admixture of glands; leaflets in number 5, rarely 7, on average 20–35 mm long and 13–30 mm wide, from elliptical to broadly elliptical, glandular on both sides, pubescent below, hairless from above or with sparse hairs. Flowers solitary, at least 2-3; pedicels 5–10 mm in length, more or less iron-bristly; sepals with lateral appendages, horizontally prostrate after flowering, pubescent on both sides, with glands along the edge, fall to the fruit ripening; rose petals; head stigma sessile, almost woolly-hairy. Hypanthias are large, widely elliptic or almost spherical, completely devoid of glands; nutlets fruit.
Distribution: South-Eastern Russia.
Economic value: possibly vitamin.
