This is my first year with LAFS. I've really liked the blooms. There are quite a few of the red with white reverse roses...Snowfire, Love, Grateful Heart, etc., but this one seems unique. It's probably closer to J&P's Grateful Heart, but LAFS has a more "florist rose" look to it. Love has heavily reflexed, pointy petals where LAFS has the more globular form you see in a florist rose. They are striking in the garden, last a good while on the plant, they're on nice long stems, and I haven't had any disease issues thusfar.
Weeks does for about 90% of their North American intros, as long as they're sold in a premier nursery setting.
Star Roses, once upon a time, did. They haven't for eons. I recall when 'Desert Peace' and 'Cary Grant' were regularly labeled with the lineage at nurseries.
It was once considered courtesy in North America, at least per the old ARS magazines. Jackson and Perkins mostly did for decades, but then they got a bit weird at the end of their lifespan. 'Always and Forever' is a good example towards the end where there is really nothing.
