'14 The Wedgewood Rose OP 02' rose Description

Bloom:
White, seashell-pink . Pointed petals. Strong, damask, fruity, grape, rose fragrance. Average diameter 3.5". Full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, open bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, upright, well-branched. Medium, matte, medium green foliage.
Growing:
Can be used for shrub. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant.
Breeder's notes:
Sent the seedling to Il Giardino dei Pigri in Italy. Over there it thrives. Upright instead of weak necks as is the case at the hip-parent 'The Wedgewood Rose". He is very pleased with this rose and describes the scent as: "A typical heavy red rose scent with some notes of red wine and Jasmine... I’m not exaggerating, it’s one of the best ever I had the chance to sniff". He pointed out the upright growth too in contrary to the hip-parent.
