I have had this lovely rose for years. It repeat blooms well, and today I noticed light mossing on the buds, and it has the typical slightly piney smell. I think it must have moss rose somewhere in its parentage.

I’ve had this rose bush for two years now. It’s absolutely amazing. It’s growing in partial shade and has gotten to a nice size-about 3’ tall and 3.5’ wide. It’s very healthy, and blooms frequently. It really covers itself with blooms, and the flushes last a long time. It almost looks like a hydrangea when it’s in peak bloom, just from the sheer number of flowers. The pollinators love it, too. The shrub is very well-branched and has a nice rounded shape. It seems perfectly happy in my dense, somewhat alkaline clay (even without the dark, glossy leaves I usually look for), and doesn’t seem to mind when conditions are especially wet or rainy. Overall, this rose seems to require very little care and earns its spot in my garden many times over. Zone 7b, NJ.
