I’ve had this rose for almost a year but have only had it planted for 5 months. It’s a vigorous grower & continued to bloom in the summer months when it was over 100 with a heat index over 110 every day for 3 months, & 80s-90s at night. It’s an extremely healthy plant. I live in humid Houston and don’t spray so every rose black spots to some degree. This one is one of my top 3 for disease resistance out of over 60 and only black spots in extreme conditions. When blooms first open they are cream/pale yellow and fade quickly to white. My main complaint with this rose is that the blooms do not last long. I only get the ‘perfect’ blooms for a few hours to less than a day before they turn white and get messy looking. However they will remain in that state for over a week without shattering. I expect bloom longevity to improve with time since it’s still a relatively young rose. Mine is potted but would do best in the ground. Can’t comment much on fragrance- in early summer this bloom smelled strongly of vanilla as described. However subsequent blooms haven’t had much fragrance for me. I expect the fragrance to deepen again as the weather cools down.
