'Xian Geng Yue Yue Hong' ("Monthly red whose peduncles have glandular hairs") Collected in Yunnan, this rose has petals that are purplish-red, and its stems have glandular hairs that are bulbous-tipped and sticky. The calyx is shorter than that of some of the other roses in the Chinensis group, and is not lobed.
