Alba roses .... 'Småkärrs Inger' ... Known in culture in Sweden since about 1950. ...'Småkärrs Inger' reminds very much of 'Great Maiden's Blush', but is distinct from it in the following characters:
- buds are pointed and pink...they lack the greenish yellow shade the buds of 'Great Maiden's Blush' often have.
- blooms have significantly less petals, often 25-45, while 'Great Maiden's Blush' has 65 and more.
- the calyx is somewhat longer and above all narrower with a clearly marked waist.
