Camelot is a shapeshifter rose hahahaha.... Every bloom is unique. High-centered, cupped, flat sometimes..

I grow so many from this era and adore coral/pink/orange but I don't currently have Camelot and that is embarrassing. Camelot is a GREAT ROSE. A work horse as described by others, always in bloom, generally happy and healthy. The color is brilliant "shrimp pink" and the foliage is very distinctive being somewhat rounded. A perfect rose for a beginning grower with a similar growth habit but brighter, livelier color than Queen Elizabeth. When I think of easily grown, rewarding and "happy" rose varieties Camelot, Duet, Golden Showers and Tiffany jump to mind. I need to find this one again. Really miss it.

You mention Tiffany, which I actually really dislike, but I love Camelot. Another that any beginner with roses should have no matter what. Big, tall, showy, and it blooms its face off. Plus, the color is very unique. It really is a simply amazing rose. It proves roses don't have to be super fancy to be super special.

Since I posted my first comment over 3 years ago, I did find Camelot----at a dollar store of all places!-----and have it again. Very different from Tiffany, has a lot more personality in my opinion than Tiffany....both C and T are truly reliable "work horses".....
