Planted in march '08 - very small - but bloomed profusely
Now - april '12 - is about 1 x 1 m with many arching canes - red brown to dark brow - with large red-brown thorns on the mature canes -
It came through a severe feb. freeze periode ( - 15 C) after a too warm dec-jan. much better than most other of my roses.
looking at pictures of other canary birds - I'm not sure how this one should be termed. The blooms are spaced closely and evenly along the stem - I have't yet had hips which don't fall off.
