WOW, Margaret!!! What is this monster growing on? Here I was worrying that my (own-root) 'Renae' wasn't going to reach the top of the tall weeping standard pole I have it on (about 9ft tall).

It's on its own roots. I don't think I've pruned it, apart from removing a trailing strand or two with the ride-on mower. There are 3 or 4 wires between the posts, around the tank, but the roses don't take much notice of them. The side wall of the tank is about 6', 1.8m, high. Just give yours time!

Mr. Moore's plant of Renae at Sequoia Nursery grew up into the trees at the picnic tables where they frequently ate lunch. It easily reached fifteen feet tall and much wider through the tree canopy. It was a magnificent sight!

Must have been wonderful, with the scent.
