This looks more like "Portland from Glendora" to me.

just my luck,i have had so many old roses mislabeled,it's not even funny.if i ever get rich(don't hold your breath though)i will commission dna tests for old roses.

But "Portland from Glendora" is an asset anyway, if you have room for a big bush. A scent to knock your socks off.

"Glendora" is much better in some climates than others. Here in the Pacific Northwest, it is constantly battling chronic Blackspot, and so it barely hangs on to life. I wouldn't recommend it for any region that has issues with fungal disease.

I see things from the perspective of zone 9b, Mediterranean- type climate.
