The form of the flower looks identical to the photograph in the Peter Lambert 1913 catalogue. Leaf shape too.

Margaret, I very much like your -> provenance symbol used in your photo caption. Simple, quick and tells the story. I will adopt it myself.

Unfortunately my cuttings of Lady Alice didn't take, and it's not on John N's list of buddings from Renmark. Unless Thomases still have it, the plant at Renmark may be the last in Australia. (Cree has been out of communication for some time.)
