Thank you, neither have I. Some self proclaimed expert is attempting to discredit me by making the same observation.

Beware the Rose Police! There is one on here with 17 years experience that believes she knows it all about roses. She is posting comments that folks are wrong about a rose being a certain one, even though it may be tagged as such. Your photo looks to have drawn her comment as did one of mine.

If you're talking about me, you can toss off because: 1) I'm a MAN, and more of one than you it would seem, 2) If a variety posted is clearly not a variety as costumes, it deserves to be flagged as such. Mara Callas is not normally a light pink. I'm not the only one that has noted so. Details about imaging or conditions need to be noted, and shame on you for assuming that just because a variety of labelled as something that's what it is because mistakes happen. I'd love to know what makes you the god of credibility and truth. I can PROVE my claim for the normal colouring of this rose from multiple references. I challenge you to find a single legitimate and accredited reference that states Maria Callas/Miss All-American Beauty is ever regularly a light pink like this image. 3) The fact that you went directly to personal insults and an attempt to discredit me shows how little that you would actually know and how little proof that you have to support your claim. Only a truly vile and hateful person would do that. Congratulations!

Maria Callas/Miss AAB is carmine, a deep pink red. This variety is not.
