Yes, I don't know if it got preferential treatment compared with the plant (yucca? ) behind it. We are now on day 150 without 10mm in the raingauge.
I looked through pages and pages of Iceberg photos on hmf without finding a picture of hips (except Patricia's - of course). It's helpful to identify found roses if details are posted early.

I do see hips every now and then on Iceberg around Sydney but the photo you posted looks like every bloom in the cluster took successfully and I did wonder if that was the plant's desperate attempt to reproduce as a survival response to the stress of the drought.

I hope you get some rain soon enough.
