Roughly 1,566 sq ft. (not including walkways), Full Sun to Part Shade rose garden in southern Florida. Zone 10b, tropical south. Some light, dappled shade because of palm trees, and a 30' tall pink Plumeria tree. Sandy soil, so we have issues with Root Knot Nematodes. I plant mostly Fortuniana grafted roses, some own roots. Several roses are in large pots I have made by cutting 55 gallon food-grade plastic barrels in half. The barrels are drilled with weep holes on the lower SIDES, not on the bottom (because of the Nematodes). I spray paint them a terracotta color and create cute nylon rope handles. It takes two people to move a planter. There have been two major landscape renovations. Things are just getting settled.
