Beginning the north west side on the other side of the circular path around the center. Keeping the Palm, Bird of Paradise. Creating a curved row of plinths with large caramel pots (more Austins) to go around the circle. May 2nd, 2024

Center Austin English Rose Circle, May 2, 2024. Roses planted: Abraham Darby, Scept'd Isle, Pat Austin, Molineux, Heritage, and Charlotte. All on Fortuniana root stock. Center large pot on plinth is the cascading Sarasota Spice. There is a Zepherine Drouhin being trained up the Plumeria tree trunk.

May 2, 2024 Connection between clover leaf and partial circular beds to the west of the Herb Wheel. There used to be a large Arborvitae or Cedar tree under the yellow bed. Needed to elevate the soil to grow above the ground-down root system. Have a few roses trying in this section, not sure what will work yet. Trying a small climber (Moonlight Romantica) and a couple upright hybrid teas, some other ornamentals, a tall plinth and some garden art.

Long view looking west: Herb Wheel Garden (high circle) has Tess of d'Urbevilles (Austin) on an obelisk in the center. Can see the lower partial circle and yellow clover leaf bed extension going in. May 2, 2024.

Still pulling trees, more to go. Middle of the yard, back toward house. Palm beside me on the right. Areca palm mound is #3 to be dug out.
