Being less than an hour from the Gulf of Mexico, we get excited just hearing a forecast for a possibility for snow. Christmas Day, 2004, we woke up to a wonderful gift of the first ever Christmas snowfall in the Houston area. The roses loved it as many started flushing out in early February.
