Apart from the capital letters (now corrected), what about it?

Patricia,
I couldn't see it when I tried to add a reference from the Species page ... even when I searched on: contains - Farrer.
So, I looked up Stearn as author, and found only the book on Philip Miller.
I added the Farrer book and entered the species references under it.
Did I duplicate something I couldn't see?
Karl

No. You didn’t duplicate it. It wasn’t there before you added it. All’s well.
I Just wondered why you had done a comment in the author’s file on it.

Ah! I wasn't able to add the book on the author's page, and assumed I'd have to wait for it to be added. Then I got it in through a species page ...
Anyway, it's all good now.

He was only 19 when he (co?)-authored this book and had just started his apprenticeship as a bookseller. I added E. H. M. Cox as Editor. Cox travelled with Farrer.

Cox was a Rhodendron expert and wrote, amongst other books, Plant Hunting in China, an excellent read, but only briefly mentions Rosa banksia, bracteata, farreri, helenae, moysell, multiflora, omeiensis, wilmottiae and xanthina as listed as specimens collected or introduced.
