I have a large sprawling shrub that someone gave me several years ago. I have lost the tags and can't remember where I got it. I took several blossoms to our local rose show and no one there (even the Judges) could identify it.
The bush is about 6x6x6 with nasty little cat claw like thorns. The blooms are on either laterals or the tips of the main canes. Foliage is a medium green, medium size with tiny hook like prickles on the back.
The flower is about 3 inches in diameter with pretty pink blend coloring. When it opens the base of the petals is a creamy yellow, as it ages the petals fade to a light creamy pink with a fairly strong pink edge. The scent is very light. The blossom is very double with at least 30 petals.
