Novelist, TV presenter and UNICEF Australia National Ambassador for Child Survival Tara Moss launches the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA)’s Little Ray of Sunshine rose at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show on Thursday 27 March. ‘To mark 50 years of advocacy and support for breastfeeding mothers is a privilege,’ Tara Moss said..... Ms Moss said 'Little Ray of Sunshine' celebrates ABA’s 50th birthday year....... The rose has been introduced for ABA by Australian rose expert and presenter on The Garden Gurus, Kim Syrus. 'Little Ray of Sunshine' is an exquisite hybrid tea rose ,’ Mr Syrus says ‘Each bright yellow bloom carries a delightful citrus and rose scent and the rose will flower continuously throughout the growing season. It is ideal as a cut flower and this hardy and healthy rose will grow equally well in both garden and pot alike up to a height of 1.5m.’ ....The rose was named by ABA member Miriam Hurworth of Western Australia

Die „Goldene Rose von Baden-Baden 2015“ kommt in den RosenPark Dräger: Am 19. Juni 2016 um 14:00 Uhr wird die bereits vielfach prämierte Edelrose dort um 14.00 Uhr auf den Namen Tresor du Jardin getauft. Beim „Internationalen Rosenneuheitenwettbewerb“ hat sie im vergangenen Jahr außerdem den Ehrenpreis als beste Duftrose sowie die Edelrosen-Goldmedaille erhalten.

Ce rosier grimpant à petites fleurs plates oranges cuivrés de 7cm de diamètre et au 15 pétales est très
original, extrèmement lumineux et particulièrement florifère.
La végétation vert mat de ce rosier grimpant est très résistante aux maladies.
Ses inflorescences en grappes fleuriront sans interruption de Juin aux gelées.
Ce rosier grimpant est légèrement parfumé.
Laissez lui au moins 1.20 cm d'espace en largeur.

Whanganui Chronicle
Whanganui rose breeders Matthews Roses have taken out the top spot in one of the country’s biggest competitions.
Their ‘Allison Scott (Mattcard)’ rose won the Gold Star of the South Pacific award at this year’s New Zealand Rose Society International Rose Trial Grounds.....
Matthews Roses was established by Tom Matthews and is now owned by his son Bob. Samantha is the third generation to be involved in the business. The winning rose, a glowing orange coral floribunda, was named after the woman who discovered it. “It’s a sport, or genetic mutation, of Bob’s rose called ‘My Mum’, which is a really special rose to us,” Matthews said. “Allison is a prominent rosarian and a lovely person. She sent it [the sport] to Bob, we trialled it, and it was really healthy and beautiful. “We’ve always been proud of being rose growers from Whanganui, and it’s cool to win an award like this.” She said the rose would be available by 2024.
