'Francesca'. Hybrid Musk, 1928. Semi-double, apricot to yellow flowers produced continuously throughout the season. Foliage is glossy, dark green and, with the stems, makes a pleasing foil to the flowers. Withstands hard pruning to create a formal hedge. 4 x 4 ft (1.2 x 1.2m)

'Glory of Edzell'. Pimpinellifoliae, date uncertain. Single flowers are clear pink with softer, almost white centres. Early flowering. This is an excellent shrub of upright habit. 5' x 4'. (1.5m x 1.2m)
