Plate 114. the hybrid tea 'Brasilia' is named after the new capital of Brazil. It is descended from the rose 'Piccadilly' and keeps its main characteristics, but the colour is more intense and there is a greater contrast between the bright red of the petals and the yellow that is revealed on them when the flower opens completely. The leaves are dark green and particularly shiny.

Plate 105. 'Geisha Girl' is the name of this hybrid tea. The flower is double, perfectly formed and an intense, glowing yellow. The leaves are dark green and shiny or else have a coppery tinge.

Plate 107. This hybrid tea is named after Margot Fonteyn. Its flowers are beautifully formed, deep pink with paler edges, but darker tones in the bud. When they are put in a vase of water their scent is so strong that it fills the whole room.
